Article 17 - Powers of the Board of Directors

The powers of the Board of Directors are the following:

  1. To reach the necessary agreements for the Association to accomplish its essential goals.
  2. To present annually a report of its work to the Ordinary General Meeting.
  3. To convene General Meetings through the office of the Secretary.
  4. To name committees which it considers necessary to be formed, at a time, for a period, and with the powers that it considers convenient for achieving the goals of the Association.
  5. To supervise. in conjunction with the Oversight Office, the work of the established committees.
  6. To receive membership applications and to grant them approval or disapproval according to paragraph (d) of Article 7 of the Bylaws.
  7. To receive voluntary resignation applications and give them the corresponding treatment.
  8. To decide on the expulsion of members for the causes listed in Article 8 of these Bylaws.
