Article 18 - Oversight Office

There will be a third body called the Oversight Office (the "Fiscalía") which is to be made up of an Oversight Officer (a "Fiscal") who is of the age of majority and named by an Ordinary General Meeting in the second fortnight of August, for a term of five years. He or she will take possession of his post on October the First in the year he is elected. He or she will have the following powers:

  1. To supervise the financial operations and movements of the Association.
  2. To maintain vigilance for the faithful compliance with the Law and the Bylaws, as well as the agreements and regulations established by the Association.
  3. To present an annual report to the Ordinary General Meeting.
  4. To hear members' complaints and carry out pertinent investigations.
  5. To request the convening of an Extraordinary General Meeting when he considers it necessary.
  6. To participate with the right to speak, but not to vote, in sessions of the Board of Directors where they deal with matters that concern the Oversight Office.
