The games will be run in accordance with the Laws of Duplicate Contract Bridge as promulgated by the World Bridge Federation.
The games will be run in accordance with the CACBF General Conditions of Contest as promulgated by the Central American and Caribbean Bridge Federation.
The games will be run by a qualified Tournament Director (TD), a CACBF Local TD (or higher) or an ACBL Club TD (or higher).
The games will pay sanction fees to the ARNB, currently ¢200 per table if supplies are provided and ¢100 per table if supplies are not required.
The games will be run under the Zero Tolerance Policy for unacceptable behavior.
A non-playing Director will run games of more than ten (10) tables.
If there is a playing Director, the Director will score a "not played" on any board where he had to make a ruling prior to playing the board at his table. This is a subjective decision by the TD about information he has received, although he should score a "not played" if he has seen any of the calls made on the board or any of the cards from the board.
The results ("gamefiles") are to be submitted monthly to the ARNB Masterpoint Registrar, John MacGregor, via e-mail. Masterpoints are only to be awarded to visitors and to ARNB members.
If an Appeals Committee is required, the Director will select at least three members from the list of ARNB approved players and instruct them to elect a chairperson.
There will be a surcharge of ¢200 per player charged to clubs for non-members playing in sanctioned games. This will begin in April of 2004 and is to be submitted with the monthly sanction fees.
