The meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order at 10:23 a.m.

The minutes of the last meeting, #1, were read and approved.
We entrust the lawyer, Jaime Weisleder, to put in order the matter of the minute books so that there is one for ordinary sessions and another for extraordinary sessions, as well as be the legal representative of the Association for the same term as the recently elected members.
We urge the club owners to charge those who have not paid, the Association membership. We will discuss with the club owners the charging of an additional ¢300 per game for each person who is not affiliated with the Association and who participates in a game.
The cards which Scotiabank sponsored are ready and John Mac Gregor will bring them back from Barbados on his next trip.
The Charity Game is scheduled for Monday, November 4th and we will coordinate with Amalia Meltzer its organization. Lilia Berrocal will discuss this with her.
The funds destined for the Children's Hospital are for the Neonatal Department. The players will bring food which will be sold.
The Open Pairs game will be scheduled as two sessions: the first about 10:00 a.m. and the second in the afternoon. We will try to hold it at the Kings Garden Restaurant. The date is fixed for next November 23rd. If there are not enough people registered, we will analyse the possibility of holding it in the Casa Club of condominium where Pilar Vitoria lives which can accomodate up to nine tables.
Norman offered to obtain additional prizes for "entry prizes" as well as to talk to "Ian and Ratti" to obtain prizes.
It was decided to call the Annual General Meeting during the month of October.
The Association will take care of holding a free game for the players which will be held around the middle of December, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with light refreshments in the middle of the afternoon. It will be called the Membership Game to distinguish it from the Chrismas Game.
