The meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order at 10:10 a.m.

The minutes of the last meeting (#16) were read. Irving Ferencz moved that they be approved. Pilar Vitoria seconded the motion. It was approved unanimously.
The Treasurer, Frederika Houtkooper, indicated there was nothing new in the treasury department. The accounts of the 2004 National Pairs Championship were delivered:

Irving Ferencz suggested investigating the possibility of publicizing the tournament in any of the Internet bridge games. John Goold said that he would check this out.
The invited members presented a possible budget for income and expenses for the May 2005 CACBF tournament. It was discussed and some suggestions were made.
