The meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order at 10:15 p.m.

The meeting was called to discuss the Women's Team Trials and conflicts with the National Open Pairs championship. Scheduling the Women's Team Trials has turned out to be difficult. It is imperative they be held promptly so that the winners, who will be representing Costa Rica in the Zonal Championships in May, have sufficient time to practice together. Holding the National Open Pairs championship this coming Saturday makes this impractical.
It was decided to schedule the Women's Team Trials, which is a two-session event, for either Saturday, March 12th and Tuesday, March 14th, or Tuesday, March 14th and Thursday, March 17th. The National Open Pairs Championship will be rescheduled to the second Saturday in April (April 9th).
This was approved unanimously.
