The minutes of meeting #21 were read. John Mac Gregor moved that they be approved, John Goold seconded the motion, and they were approved unanimously.
We received an e-mail message from Gustavo Chediak inviting us to the 55th South American Bridge Tournament in June, 2005. We received an e-mail message from Eduardo Piza, requesting that the ARNB pay the entry expenses of national teams that will participate in the CACBF tournament in May.
Frederika Houtkooper moved that the ARNB, if it has the budget, reimburse the entry and travel expenses of national teams that participate in tournaments such as the Olypiads, and World and Zonal championships.
John Goold seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.
The next meeting will be held June 7th, 2005 at 9:30 a.m.
The World Bridge Federation's World Simultaneous Pairs will be held the 3rd and 4th of June at 1:30 p.m., at the Club Tres Sin Triunfo and the cost will be 3,500 colones.
Pilar Vitoria moved to purchase one of Frederika Houtkooper's sculptures for $500, to express gratefulness for the work of the organizers of the May CACBF tournament, Ian McLennan and María Antonio Mellado. We received an anonymous donation of $100 specifically towards the purchase of this sculpture for this purpose.
John Mac Gregor seconded the motion and it was approved by three votes with the abstention of Frederika Houtkooper.
