The minutes of the last meeting were read. John Mac Gregor moved that they be approved, Ian McLennan seconded the motion, and they were approved unanimously.
John Mac Gregor moved to hold the free membership game on Thursday, July 27th at 5:30 p.m., with dinner, and to form a publicity committee with John Goold, Ian McLennan and John Mac Gregor; Patricia Miganda and Pilar Vitoria to take care of the dinner. Pilar Vitoria seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.
We have received an invitation to participate in the Colombian Bridge Federation tournament to be held from September 9th in Cartagena.
We have received an invitation from the WBF to participate in the Women's Bridge Festival to be held from September 26th to October 1st in Italy.
John Mac Gregor moved to change the cards in two sets of boards and in the future to replace the cards with coding [the cards in the boards used for dealing machines]. Patricia Miranda seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.
John Mac Gregor moved to end the meeting at 5:45 p.m., John Goold seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.
